Wisdom Tooth Removal by professional dentists
Wisdom teeth are the large teeth at the very back of your mouth. They are the last of your teeth to emerge and for most people, that’s around the teenage years, but it can be later.
It can be beneficial to have your wisdom teeth removed.
Sometimes, there is not enough space in your mouth for these large molars and as your wisdom teeth emerge, tooth crowding can happen, making some of your other teeth crooked altering your smile.
Wisdom teeth are at the back of your mouth, making them hard to clean. As a result, bacteria can build up between them and other teeth, causing cavities, decay and gum disease.
Late-appearing wisdom teeth can also be the cause of other, often painful, dental issues.
If you have any issues with your wisdom teeth, ask our dentists for an examination. They can then tell you if wisdom teeth removal is needed.
The procedure is done under local anaesthetic by one of our excellent dental surgeons. So, you would feel very little or no pain at all.
